About Norwich Centenary Rotary Club
We are the youngest of the five Norwich Rotary clubs, formed on the centenary of Rotary in June 2005 – hence our name. We’re a very informal bunch we meet once a month for our gatherings on the east side of Norwich.
We’re known for our fundraising for local and international projects, for the famous “Upton Walk” in May each year and for our wonderful “Quiz and Chips” each Autumn. In 2019 we took on our most ambitious projects to support the Boudicca breast cancer appeal by holding a Charity Ball at the Assembly House and run a grand raffle of a new car which was donated by two local companies! We love big challenges and we rose to the occasion. Both raised substantial funds for the charity and we had a lot of fun doing the projects. What’s 2020 going to bring?

In the past years we have supported East Anglian Children’s Hospice, East Anglia Air Ambulance, CRUSE, Parkside and the Wherry Schools. We have held events in support of 'End Polio Now' such as a tea on international women’s day.
We’re big believers in Rotary clubs working together to deliver great things for the local community and we’ve been working closely in 2019 with the other Rotary Clubs in Norwich.
We’ve welcomed several new members in 2019 and we’d love to meet with more people to come and find out what we do!Our gatherings are very social affairs and we like to think we’re a very friendly crowd. Rotary is a great way to make friends, have fun and do we great work for the local community in which we live!
