Christmas Tree Festival
Norwich St. Edmund Rotary Club
Sixth year of glittering Christmas Tree Festival!
Norwich St. Edmund Club, in collaboration with St. Peter Mancroft church, in central Norwich, will again stage their successful Charity Christmas Tree Festival this coming December, 2019.
Following the official switch-on by the Lord Mayor, the festival will be open to the public for five days from 4th to 8th December, culminating in a Charity Carol Service at 6.30pm on the Sunday, to which all are invited.
Last year over 30 trees were sponsored by local businesses and charities all beautifully decorated, reflecting the true spirit of the festive season, and greatly enhancing the experience for visitors. The very popular model train display will again be enjoyed by visiting children and their parents.
As in the previous years the Memorial Christmas tree will once again be available, this year sponsored by Gordon Barber Funeral Services. This feature has proved very popular with everyone attending, and those wishing to remember loved ones at this special time of year will be attaching a dedication of their own.
We are delighted to announce that this year the main local charities will be the Boodicca Breast Cancer Appeal along with Friends in Deed who will jointly benefit from sponsorship and the bucket collections.
If you know of a business that would like to sponsor either their company or a charity of their choosing please put them in touch with Barry Catchpole at Rotary Club Norwich St. Edmund: firstname.lastname@example.org
